Mcilvaine: Movement 3, Lenape River Dances, from "Suite to the Navesink River"
I wrote this three-movement piece of music to showcase my abilities as a neo-romantic composer. The piece was written to honor the river that runs through my community and the original people of this area: the Lenape Indians. The piece is written for String Quartet and flute, and it incorporates Lenape Indian melodies as well as my own melodies and music.
